Pipeline is back today, Hawaii’s most notorious wave shook off the cobwebs and offered some big barrels for 100 or so lucky humans. USBA final day results

The salt creek pro finished today in 3-5foot storm surf. Cold and windy all the competitors fought hard in the tough conditions. I won the men’s pro and the Usba national title for the 3rd time in a row. Brian Stoerh placed 4th and won the dk national tour title and travis smith placed 3rd [...]

Day 2 and it is the exact opposite of yesterday with howling side onshore winds up to 25 knots. The surf is windy and stormy and the action is still a go though as the competitors battle up an down the beach for the title. More later.

The salt creek pro went well with amazing glassy 1-3 foot waves all day. One of the nicest days I have ever scene in california. Tomorrow the quarter finals of the pro resume at 8 am sharp. Salt creek pro day 1

Here early at the salt creek pro usba national tour event. Waves are small 1-3 foot peaky beach break. All the touring riders have shown up the romeros brian Stoerh Spencer skipper David Phillips alex brown travis smith and the list goes on. Should be a fun day and I’ll update later on.

Hanging out in California

I arrived in California last night. Jeff Marshall the ocean current team manager picked me up in the team van and brought me down to Dana Point.
