Shayne Skipper was in town for few days and got to snap a few photos of me surfing Pipe.   Shayne rips on the sponge like his bro Spencer Skipper but  decided to  take a break and try  his luck at the lens . Not bad  at all for his first time shooting at the Pipeline.

Pipe strikes out. Even with all the forecasts and predictions for  perfect size and swell and wind direction. Pipe managed to  be totally horribel today. Blown out early by gusty north east winds. Pipeline was in form this afternoon as a soild north west swell slowly filled in on the north shore.  The waves were really wedge  as it ran across the sandbar today. A dropping tide and Clean conditions allowed for some deep tubes and  nice ramps for every one. GT  was in form as was Nelz [...]

I hit up the North shore today  for the first time in a while. It looked super fun every where, though I just hit up Backdoor and Pipe for 3 hours and and had a ton of fun. The waves came up today and am heading back there now. Good times are happening..

After 5 days of Makapu’u . I finally had to  give it a rest and get some work done. Though Makapu’u was fun and playful for 5 days in a row with  Skip, Jonah Romero, Stew,  and the rest of the boys enjoying  the Keiki corner rip bowl with me. I really do hope for [...]

The Pipe wrap up party and  bodyboarder choice awards went off friday night at senoir frogs. A huge crew of bodybaorders showed up and  every one was parting hard and having a blast. 800 bodyboarders voted online for the awards and it was cool to see the support levels so high for such short notice.
