6 am set up begins – volunteers needed

The USBA event at Sandy Beach was a big time fun this weekend. Fun waves, exciting action, huge crowds and solid organization as it was one of the best USBA contests to date. The sponsors Ocean Current, Dave and Busters and came through and hooked up a solid 6K prize purse for the event.

The Bodyboarders owned the Pipeline bodysurfing event today.
The waves were not perfect pipe but super fun sick body surf type peaks and wedges.
Mike Stewart killed it as usual and won the thing for the 15 time i think
But I Placed second which to me felt like winning when you lose to the best bodysurfer ever.

The final day of pipeline was much smaller than the days before. The waves were 3-4 feet inconsistant right and lefts.
I lost in the quaters when I only caught one wave. I was way to paitent just wanting to fly high but nothing came in for me.
