Hit up OTW and Backdoor today and the waves were fun . They were holding the girls surfing event at Pipeline and it was sad as only the bodyboarder girls were doing anything cool  or near the barrel of course. Girl surfers should not have a contest out at Pipeline it is a waste of [...]

Pipe was the spot of choice again today . Some big waves meant no girls surf contest which was perfect for us to go out and play at pipeline all day. I picked up Brother David at 7am on the way up north and we surfed pipeline all day and I dropped him back off [...]

After a few long weeks of small surf  on the north shore. Pipeline woke up from its slumber this afternoon.  The reef was hitting 6 foot when I paddled out at 330 and  by 530  it was 6-10 fit hitting on second reef. Windy and a lot of sand  but still fun with only a [...]

Went on a little excursion to the east side yesterday.  Makapu’u was small so Skip and I found ourselves back at Sandy beach once again. Andrew Rams  got his photo skills on a few weeks ago and  took some shots of me. Andrew mostly videos but he recently got  amped to try his luck behind a different lens. Not bad buddy.

I went to Maui with Jonah Romero for  Friday and Saturdays Swell event. The waves got huge and  the winds were perfect.  I had a blast and was great seeing all the Maui locals Kona, Evan, Kingsley, Leroy, Jimmy and Carey  all ripping . I surfed for 16 hours over those two days  it was  [...]

Shayne Skipper was in town for few days and got to snap a few photos of me surfing Pipe.   Shayne rips on the sponge like his bro Spencer Skipper but  decided to  take a break and try  his luck at the lens . Not bad  at all for his first time shooting at the Pipeline.
