According to Jacob Romero’s blog title ..”Life is good” and after visiting his home for three days I can see why. I spent three epic days on Maui, hanging with Jacob and his brother Jonah and his great family. We surfed at least 18 hours over the three days with all our friends Marcus, Kona, Kinglsey , Miles ect. Jacobs dad Mark was a legend as he would make us all the biggest meals and the fridge would be stocked with great beers. As we would come home, tired and hungry warriors from our all day affair with all the amazing ocean and waves Maui had to offer. And we would all feast and relax in the hot tub with a beer or two. Also staying with Jacob was good nulla bloke Richie Lornie who made “Chout ” the dvd. Richie was Filming and gave us some frame grabs from his next film “Chout Guy”. Mahalo Richie. Marcus Rodrigues was also filming us when not out dominating the peak with his go pro. His air spin frame grab of me is the last one.
In Richie’s angle of my air spin I went out of his frame so this is on my way down to a safe landing.

Lastly life is good, because we are all alive today and with our friends and family. As recent news of my friend Andy’s sad death has left us all realizing life is too short and we have to enjoy it whilst we can. R.I.P Andy.
