Maui times

I spent the last three days hanging out on Maui with my friends and surfing the great waves the island had to offer.  One Monday I flew over and hung out with Marcus Rodrigues . It was his birthday and we surfed Honolua bay for 8 hours that day. It was firing and so much fun watching all the Maui boys ripping Jacob Romero was hitting any section he saw and flying high pushing his riding and making the bay look like his  play ground.  We had mean birthday grinds at marcus house that night and then woke up early the next day and the bay was still pumping so we surfed again for 5 hours till marcus had to go to work. Then He dropped me off at the Foam Co. where I meet up with Jacob Romero and the Aussies crew Simon Ormerod and Glenn Sullivan and Richard the filmer and had some amazing food from Jacobs dad Mark who makes the mops on a daily basis for the boys. The Romeros hook it up.

On wensday we surfed  the bay again it was smaller and also surfed a little slab as well which was a cool session just riding with the crew Kona K,  Simon , Jacob,  Timmy and Kaea. A fun day ended with another mean dinner at the Romeros before I jumped on the 20 minute flight back home. I Hope another outer island trip is in store for me in the future.

   Jeff right on for giving the Maui guys props! It’s good to see outerisland guys of your stature letting people know that the Maui scene is epic and guys from that island put it down! Mahalos for the respect…

   Jeff I got a question though, have the guys at Churchill annonced a date yet for the Hubb fins to release? I need a new set for the summer and I don’t want to buy a pair of allys or something and have yours come out like a week later.
