My IPhone 4 day

I pre-ordered my Iphone 4 a few weeks ago and in my sate of bliss is had it delivered to the Ala Moana mall store.  So to beat the Apple madness  this morning. I woke up at 5am and drove down to the mall arriving at 520  about 20 minutes too late as I saw all three TV news vans and knew I was in trouble. I was about 80 people back from the front which I was told was empty at 500am. So actually not too bad. Considering the line was about 300 plus people long just for the pre-orders. The walk in line was about 500-1000 people deep.. crazy. So Apple actually gave us breakfast and  Starbucks gave out free iced teas and we got free t-shrts and cases and protectors for just sitting out so early and supporting launch day.  It was not too bad waiting for a few hours. I was actually on the  TV morning show as the showed the huge crowd  and focused in on me just sitting down in line looking a bit pathetic (as I was told).   Then Heather came to wait with me the last hour .  Also we saw GT emerge from the store with his new Iphones right before we got in to get ours, classic. So It was a good morning after all, not too long of a wait to get a cool new gadget,  hung out with Heather and GT, and I got to go surf some fun waves afterwards for the rest of the morning. So a Nice day after all the early morning madness.

   Pipeline patience at Ala Moana. Iphones a scam….Nokia all the way!
