Pipe comp report #1

I was down at the beach all day the last few days. Monday the swell went from flat in the morning to 15 foot at dark.

It was wild and crazy but pretty good pipe.

Yesterday was the first day of the contest  I surfed in the morning before the event and after the event finished. I sat  and watched the contest for 8 hours on the beach with  friends, and enjoyed the show of bodyboarders ripping @ the pipeline.

It was a cool windy day, the waves were dropping all day  4-6 foot  with an bigger set every once and a blue moon.

I enjoyed watching saw some smooth bodyboarding at the pipeline as it got me amped.  The first 4 rounds went through and now they are waiting for another swell to finish the next 2 days of competion.

I surf in the third day round 8 .

Tim Hamilton, Toby Player and Damien King were stand outs from day 1 combing there opponents with fine form.
