South swell times
We had some sick waves in Hawaii’s south shore over the weekend with Bowls point panic courts and sandy’s all going off. Kainoa Mcgee bowls guru said he saw the biggest wave that he has scene in 15 years close out the bowl channel from right barreling all the way across. I got some sick waves that day with minimal crowd. Also Saturday the hand baord contest went off at the best panics sever for a contest it was 3-6 feet and spitting and barreling from the outer buoy,never before has it been that amazing for a contest. I just came down to support my brother dave who flew over for it and since the waves were so good I entered the contest too. So I cut a mini hand board to regulation sie and surfed for a bunch of heats and made the semis of the pro division just losing out in a tie breaker to pro event winner and friend Chris Kalima. I was so stoked though as got so barreled on that little piece of foam all day it was crazy.
Mike Stewart, Chris Kalima, Kai santos and Dave hubbard all were in the final today and were ripping so hard great bodyboard hybrid support for bodysurfing /handboarding so it was great to watch these guys kill it today in the final even though it was smaller.. Dave got 2nd in the paipo baord event to M
ike stewart as well.
It looks like a bunch more south swell on the way so good times ahead.

Yeah the swell has been the best. I have been on Kauai for the past 7 days and have scored. Plus got to see the Kauai boys kill it and their local spots
