Success

Today we had the final day of the Peruvian inka challenge. The waves were fun 3-4 foot and bowly. I won which was epic. It was my first IBA event win since pipe in 2007. It felt great I had some great heats. My heat with Dave Winchester was one of my favorites as we had a epic dual in the fun surf. I surfed against a great local Peruvian hero in the final.I had 5000 peruvians on the beach cheersing him on and 4 Hawaiians hooting for me and it worked as I won. The contest was awesome great set up and good waves and coMpetition. The poster was sick as was the trophy and all the competitors got epic sweatshirts. Off to chile early tommorrow morning after an amazing Peruvian meal the food here is world class.
